About J. R. Nichols

J. R. (Jamie) Nichols loves to get lost in the “music” of the spoken word, which is why her prose often reads as a poem or a song might. Early exposure to a variety of musical styles and several different types of literature produced Jamie’s genre-bending writing style, through which she brings characters to life in stories of significance to her Wonderful Readers.

Jamie submits two pieces of fiction per month to The Writing Shorts Newsletter. Her shorts (pieces of short fiction) have won several online awards and have been published in two anthologies. Her first novel is anticipated for release in the fall of 2021.

Jamie is most widely known for her livestreamed writing sprints. In fifteen minutes or less, she creates a piece of short fiction based on the weekly prompt (provided by The Christian Indie Writers’ Podcast).
