If a raccoon can be taught to communicate in sign language, can he also be taught to play video games?

This is what Theo Brown wonders when he enters a secret laboratory and makes a new, furry friend – a racoon named Cornelius (Corny, for short). Unbeknownst to Theo, Corny  is actually a disguised alien from the planet Nebulizer, who longs to get back to the forest and discover the fate of the remainder of his crew.

Corny’s days are numbered – the evil Dr. who holds him captive has plans to eliminate all of the lab’s creatures, including Corny.

Can Theo save Corny from certain death?  Will Corny ever get back to planet Nebulizer? More importantly, will Theo ever get the chance to witness Corny’s nifty little paws manipulate a Gamebox controller?

Second Nature  is the  second story in the Summervilles Saga, which chronicles the efforts of three alien races to survive invasion and unrest, and the first contact between them and the citizens of each of the world’s Summervilles.
